Barns, Farms, and Fields!

I am very fortunate to be able to photograph some amazing couples at some amazing venues. Valley View Farm in Haydenville Ma is no exception. With their beautifully kept farmhouses, barns, and fields. It is a playground for portrait taking! Michael and Lydia were such a sweet couple to work with on their wedding day! From the moment I met them i could tell they shared so much love for each other!

The Getting Ready

Their day began by getting ready in separate farmhouses located on the grounds. Lydia and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done while the guys relaxed and started getting their suits on. They both nervously awaited seeing each other for the first time. We set up their first look in a nice shady area between the to houses. They shared such a beautiful moment together!

Let the Festivities Begin!

The ceremony was held under the outdoor pavilion next to the reception barn. The guests were accompanied by the sweet sounds of the Golden Scroll Sololists String Quartet as they entered. The ceremony was full of emotion and love as the two exchanged hand written vows and rings.

The night carried on with introductions and their first dance. Michael and Lydia surprised the guests with a choreographed dance that they had been working on prior to the big day! They nailed it! Lydia also surprised Michael with his very own groom's cake topped with a Focal Banger from The Alchemist Brewery! The guests made S'omores outside by the fire, drank the many craft beers that were served, and danced the night away! They were surrounded by so many of their loving family and friends which made it a perfect day!
